passage of one paragraph

by petersa2 » Fri Jun 29, 2012 3:55 pm
hi everybody, i have a doutb related to reading comprenhension strategy.
Some passages consist in just one paragraph(sometimes longer). What is the strategy in these cases? Should i read some parts?
I was trying to read all, but it is not working at all (time consuming).
I will appreciate your advices.
all the best!

Read for structure is the best advice you can have on any RC passage. That is identify what each part of the passage contributes (detail, hypothesis, conclusion, etc..) you are going to have to go back to the passage for details anyway...
