A couple of questions:

1.I got State 15th Highest Mark in my 10th Standard and 3rd Highest Mark in 11th Standard. But,my UG GPA is less. So,does my low GPA effect my chances too much?

2.I am from Indian School of Mines(ISM),Dhanbad. The only difference between ISM and IIT's is the name. All the official procedures proceed in the same way for both the colleges. So,will I get AW!! look generally got for IITians??

3.What are chances for Stanford GSB as a defered candidate??

Your application at HBS 2+2 or Stanford will be a preeetty long shot with your GMAT and your GPA. They only take the best of the best, and most candidates have veeeery high GPAs plus very high GMATs PLUS all the amazing school experience stuff. so at the very least to have a chance you will need to retake your GMAT and get at least a 720.

As for the differences between IIT, and ISM, you may be right. However I'm not sure that the schools see it as that. Seeing as they do tend to recruit more heavily from IITs than other schools, one can remark their preference for IIT graduates.

Of course, many Indian candidates from other schools DO get accepted too!

Are my Extra-Circulars below the required level? You didn't comment on my Extra Circulars...

With a GMAT Score of 750+ and the same profile... Can I take a shot at HBS 2+2?

Your extra curriculars plus what you have listed under "positions of responsibility" are very nice indeed. If you were to get a 750 on the GMAT, I'd say you have a shot.
