I am bummed out. I just don't get it. I purchased two of the Kaplan study books (one general, one math), studied for a week, took a practice exam from mba.com, got a 570, then took the test this morning and got a 430?????
Trying to figure out my next move...

Really sorry to hear that your performance wasn't up to your expectations. But the good news is that you've come to the right place! I have two suggestions for you:

1) Check out the 60-Day GMAT Study Guide - It's a newsletter course that e-mails you what to study every day.
2) Read this article on Re-Taking the GMAT

BTW, is there anywhere I can recieve some help in interpreting my exam result sheet? It says that my scaled quantitative score is 26, my scaled verbal score is 23 and my scaled total is 430, but I have no idea what that means. Also, it says that I will not recieve my integrated reasoning score and my analytical writing assessment score for another 20 days. Will those affect the score?
Thank you.
:-)

Have you seen this page on interpreting your GMAT scores? https://www.mba.com/the-gmat/gmat-scores ... eport.aspx

Your AWA and IR scores will not have any affect on your core GMAT scores (math, verbal, total number)
