Profile evaluation and guidance

by daneshchothia » Sun May 13, 2012 11:11 pm
I'm planning to do a Full time MBA in Canada.

Profile:
I'm from India and have a 3 year bachelors degree and no masters.
Work Experience: 7 years (3 years in Citibank, 2 years in Royal Bank of Scotland and 2 years in EDMA Capital [Started my own corporate finance advisory])
GMAT: 610 (Quant 44 [66%], Verbal 29 [53%])
Final Year GPA: 3.6
Decent extra curricular activities: Play soccer, cricket, snooker

Target Schools:
- Ivey
- Queens
- UBC
- McGill

Considering my GMAT score is well below the average score posted on all these schools' websites, what are my chances in these schools ?

Also if I would want a few schools as safe schools which ones should i target.

Any help would be really appreciated

Thanks & Regards,
Danesh

Hi daneshchothia,

If you are very interested in attending the schools you had listed, I recommend you retake the GMAT test. Remember that your score is self-reported on your application, so admissions teams will focus on your best score.

If you decide to take the test again, here are some free tips: https://www.stacyblackman.com/gmat-overview/
