Just be beaten by the GMAT!

Hi everyone,

I have been a member of this forum for more than two years. Today I have just taken my GMAT test and the result was not pleasured at all.

I have been studying for more than 1 month before this exam. However, the continuity is not what I have. I was quite distractted with my job and could not commit myself of about 1 hour per day as I planned. I did about one test weekly and spent another 4-6h learning verbal at weekend.

Here are some of the mocking test result:
GMAT Prep1: 690 Q49 V32 (test result is inflated as I have done many problems of this test in BTG forum)
GMAT Simulator set 2 - Test 4 (Veritas): 680 Q49 V37
GMAT Simulator set 2 - Test 5 (Veritas): 600 Q49 V25
MGMAT Test 1: 700 Q47 V39
GMAT Prep2: 640 Q49 V28
Real GMAT Test: 640 Q50 V27

All the mocking and real test are done within one month but the results are very unstable. My problem is the reading comprehension. I have tried Manhattan RC book but cannot help much. I think it is process to improve my RC skill on GMAT. Whenever the RC (especially a long a passage) appears at the very begining, say 10 first question, my verbal score will significantly drop.

I think i miss the change of applying this year into top B-schools with this uncompetitive score. Retaking within a few months is not an option as GMAT is coming in new format and my RC skill needs to be improved alot.

Materials used:
Manhattan SC & RC
Powerscore CR
OG12
SC 1000
BTG Forum

Anyone suggest me some good resources to improve my RC skill. I would be thankful.

Just my quick debrief about my one month GMAT journey, please dont check for grammar and spelling mistake.
I am open to any question.

Follow Gin's strategy to RC
or you should have a strategy for each type[main pt, inference, according to passage,] of RC question
you can improve only thro practice
