Kaplan score 540 25 days to the exam

by pinky23456!@ » Sun Apr 22, 2012 10:39 am
Hi

I have over 3weeks to go for my exam..I took a KAPLAN CAT1 and scored 540(Q=38 and V=23). The score was a big let down..coz i have taken a month offf from work to take this paper..Can someone tell me as to how much i should rely on these scores? Should i take the exam in a week's time or delay it further considering my score ?

Hi Pinky,

No at-home test is perfect, because the Test Day experience is very different from what goes on in the testing center, but our scores are generally reliable; if your CAT 1 score is significantly below your target score, you may need to consider delaying your test.however, I'm a little confused about your test date, based on your response; is it in one week, or three?

With three weeks, there definitely is time to improve. Make a study schedule and a list of weaknesses to work on, and stay positive and focused as you prep. Good luck!
