I have my MBA from the university of Bangalore, in Bangalore India. Do you think I would be able to get my equivalent in Canada? What is the requirements to get its equivalent there? Is the MBA program the same as in Bangalore University? Please drop me any information you have regarding this issue..

Thank you in advance

Well what do you mean by equivalent? Are you trying to do a PhD? and you need an equivalency for your diploma?

It's not only for the further education purpose, but also for getting a job. If i want to get a job, my degree from India will not be considered equal to Canadian degree. so, what I need to do is to ask for it's equivalent. what I mean by equivalent is that, my degree will be evaluated based on the Canadian higher education requirements. if i have the same credit as people get in Canada, then my degree will be recognized, otherwise they won't give the equal value.

Well there's no reason why it should not count, at least officially, so for academic purposes, or anything which requires a masters for a certain salary etc., however certain companies (say McKinsey, Samsung) might not consider it enough of a prestigious program. But usually if it's just for getting a job you don't need an actual equivalency, you just simply write it on your resume.

Hope this helps
