Test Prep Scores

by opuazhar » Fri Dec 16, 2011 2:24 pm
Hello Eli
I am sure that, you will not feel disturb if I desire your proficient suggestion for getting 500 in GMAT while most test takers are striving for 600+. Because not everyone has the same career needs, plan and time for preparing, there may be some deviations in preferred score. :) I had very short time for preparing myself for the exam. In 4 weeks preparation I have taken 3 Prep Tests. Would you pleased recommend me whether I will seat for the exam next week? My target is 500. My scores are-

KAPLAN Diagnostic test (CAT 1) : (Taken at 6/12/2011) Score 570
Manhattan Free Prep Test (CAT 1): (Taken at 15/12/2011) Score 540
GMAT Prep 1 : (Taken at 16/12/2011) Score 470

Thanks

Hi opuzhar,

I'd definitely take the test.

Of the three tests, the official test is the most accurate--you unfortunately can't rest easy on your 570. 470 is probably not your actual level, because 100 points is a lot of drop. Were you tired during the last test? Unfocused? Distracted? But even if you are scoring 470, 30 points increase in 4 weeks time is a manageable goal by any measure. Keep working, and I'm sure you'll hit your target.

Best of luck!

Thanks Eli!!!
I was tired last night during the test. I was so much scared too. I think thats the reason of that fall.
Thanks for your wishes Eli. You are as much helpful as your KAPLAN BOOKs.:)
Unfortunately In my country there is no KAPLAN study centre for GMAT.

Take care
