GMAT Essays (AWA)

Ok, don't laugh but I am taking GMAT in 8 days and I have not looked at AWA section at all..until today. So, from one of the Eric's older post (2006) I found that GMAT releases the list of essays in its website. My question is whether they ask the essay question from that list? I found it to be a little ridiculous (that they would list the actual question out in advance) but I thought I read it somewhere that they select the question from that very list.
So, is that true? Can anybody confirm.
