Today I did my first GMAT prep after lots of studying , I got a 550 , I thought of lots of things (including the one we dont speak about) , I dont know how I will boost my score to a 600 by may 13 , I dont know what to do , I dont know what to do.
I guess I will sleep it off , and maybe see how things go tommorow , I know its only an exam , but hey you only live once

its a little of everything , I guess the verbal is what is killing me , and the fact that Quant is good but it gets me when I am not looking (around question 15)
Today I will start reviewing the GMAT prep exam and I will see how things go.
Any strategy suggestions with verbal when it comes to time ???

I like mwilliams' point. Take it a little slower and be a little more deliberate when going through the questions.
More drastically, you can just do your best and, if dissatisfied with your score, then plan to re-take the exam and enroll in a prep course. As an instructor, I get several students looking to retake and get a higher score.
Good luck. Remember, it is just a test....
