Hello All.I hope you are having a good day.

Well i have been working in IBM India for last 3 yrs as a software developer.I want to go for strategic consulting from a 1 yr college.I have a gmat score of 700(Q 49,V 37)

First, i need to know whether it would be easy for me to get into strategy consulting after my MBA since i would have no prior experience in that field.

Second, can you please list down few good 1 yr MBA college for strategy consulting apart from ISB.

No strategy consulting list gets completed without INSEAD.

INSEAD (Consulting and Finance-France and Singapore), IE (Entrepreneurship-Spain), Judge,Said, Cornell,ESADE, Emory, Kellogg

Yes you have two fights. First to get in and then to prove the recruiters that you have it.

Post more information about your academics.

You have to break this IT guy image for sure.

Hi irfank851,

If you are interested in a career change, you may want to consider a 2 year MBA program. The reason is because in a 2 year MBA program a summer internship opportunity is provided. This is a great way to gain experience in a new industry.

Hope this was of help.

Cheers,
