Most recovering heroin addicts seek to be free of drug dependency and others' prejudicial treatment as well.

(A) of drug dependency and others' prejudicial treatment as well.
(B) both of drug dependency and also of prejudicial treatment.
(C) both of drug dependency and also from prejudicial treatment.
(D) both of drug dependency but also from prejudicial treatment.
(E) both of drug dependency and of prejudicial treatment as well.

Please explain in detail the answer.

(B) both of drug dependency and also of prejudicial treatment.

E. In E, I feel the 'as well' phrase is redundant

both of x and also of y is not parallel. Correct usage of idiom both of x and of y

both and also are redundant.. that is the reason B is wrong
First take: 640 (50M, 27V) - RC needs 300% improvement
Second take: coming soon..
