Hello All,
I just got back from writing my GMAT.I scored a miserable 630 ( 47Q and 32V ). I know it isn't good enough for any of the top colleges. But my acads are pretty poor anyway so chances of getting into a top B- school were always bleak. Is my score good enough to get into a decent B-school? Or will I have to retake the GMAT?

I am in the same boat, all i can say is weigh in ur factors
Option 1.
a) full time vs part time. part-time gmat is usually lower at top ranking schools and is not published.
b) pull up a list of schools where avg gmat or 90 pct range is within 20 points of 620
c) work on your application.
or
Option 2.
study some more, identify your weak areas, look up the topics in MGMAT -Rons study halls and give it another shot.
I am going with option 2.My earlier scores were 570 and 650. lets see what i can get in my third attempt.

Take it again. It took me three tries to get a 700. Even if you only improve to 650 or 660, those points will make a difference, and if nothing else, it will show that you're serious about the application process and won't settle for a 630.
Best of luck.
