Argument essay question

by tdkk123 » Wed Sep 21, 2011 10:06 pm
HI, i woud like to know if it is okay to give examples in the argument essay to better illustrate my point. I have read that personal examples are a strict no no but what about a general example to support the flaw I am bringing out?

Examples have the same problems of equivocalness. It depends on the readers set values that how much he is able to have a clear perception of what you want to show. Its said that the world is full of evidences, no proofs.

Use it in case of total surety.

You might have observed that it takes a lot of words to explain an example. SO in that way examples have their problem. It gives another view. Its like a picture.
