Converting GPA?

by bjam2 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:40 pm
My school used the 100 point scale for GPA, I have a 91.7 but have found many different conversion scales. I know this has been covered before but I really don't see the point in paying a company to do it when its simple math.

From the MBA.com table I get a 3.83 gpa.

From the Columbia GSB Conversion I get a 3.77 gpa.

From a conversion table on my undergrads site I get a 3.57 gpa. Which seems pretty strict.

So what would be safe to report? Also, if the school only requests an unconverted score, is my 91.7 competitive? Thank you for all the help.

Hi

you can not convert percentage to GPA, though there are many websites and fourmulae who claims that they can.....

On you application just right down your percentage and 100 scale. Adcom is intelegent and can easily figure our your scores.

If in doubt, I suggest people to contact the admissions staff of their target schools just to make sure you convert your grades properly.
