Number properties from OG - diagnostic

by AleksandrM » Sat Apr 12, 2008 2:10 pm
#13 If s and t are positive integers such that s/t = 64.12, which of the following could be the remainder when s is divided by t?
a) 2
b) 4
c) 8
d) 1000
e) 2000

After reading the explanation provided in the guide, I feel as if there must be a shorter way of solving this problem. If anyone knows of an approach or would like to have a go....be my guest.
