except for you and me

Hello,

Please let me know if i'm correct here:

Except for you and me, everyone brought a present to the party.
Except for us, everyone brought a present to the party.
Except for you and him, everyone brought a present to the party.
Except for you and her, everyone brought a present to the party.

And "for" must go after "except" ? can i say "Everyone brought a present to the party except me" ?

Thanks a lot. :)

The first one should be You and I .

Here I is the subject . You use "me" is "I " is an object .

the construction of the remaining 3 would be akward :

you need to to use WE instead of us

He instead of him

and she instead of her.

I am no expert , just stating the rules as mentioned in MHGMAT Chapter 4:
If you have the book , take a look .
