Hi Rine,

I think it depends on your own personality and how disciplined you can be with making a study schedule and sticking to it. Some students need the accountability a classroom setting provides. I have a friend who teaches GMAT for a big prep company, and as he puts it, "The classes are a gym membership, not liposuction."

You'll have to do all of the hard work anyway, so my suggestion is to start studying using a variety of resources: books and practice tests by MGMAT/Kaplan/PR, etc., Grockit, BTG, the Powerpreps, and get a good understanding of your strengths/weaknesses and of the prevailing strategies and methods.

Then you'll be in a much better position to decide on a course AND you'll be much more able to soak up the information if you do take the course!

Good luck to you!
