by lalabee » Mon Feb 04, 2008 12:22 am
Hello,

I chose D, and may i know the dfference btw A & B?

i thought comparing the same thing should us the word "Like" - or the reason why it's A becuase the word "once" has to come btw "had been" ?

Please let me know.

Thanks.

the answer should be A

like- can compare two nouns or things and must be followed by noun.
i.e. the boy looks like his uncle.

but AS cant compare two nouns and can compare two actions.
