Hi,
I am Nilanjan ..I have an Engineering degree with a major in Eletrical Engineering..I have a GMAT score of 750 with 4 yrs of work ex(at the time of matriculation) in a fortune 15 company..I work in the field of media marketing research and analytics for an IT company and want to pursue an MBA in MArketing from a top 20 US school..i wanted to give the CFA level 1 exam in order to strengthen my MBA application..i understand that the CFA program is mostly directed towards a career in finance but i felt it would be important for me as i want to understand the technical aspects of finance in addition to the bigger picture gained through an MBA so that i can fulfill my long term goal of setting up a marketing firm of my own.
I would like to know your views on whether the CFA level 1 exam would help in strengthening my application profile..
Thanks a lot
Nilanjan

Hello, Nilanjan,
If you present insightful points about how and why the CFA would benefit you in your goals, then it would certainly be a plus.
