MBA University that does NOT require GMAT

by BBJ » Tue Jan 08, 2008 5:06 pm
I was looking through my other options, and I came across Argosy University. I asked the admission's what is the minimum score on GMAT to get accepted, and she told me that they do not require students to take their GMAT or GRE.
I was shocked and had a big grin on my face as it also offers what I'm interested in haha!

But I've heard if school's do not require GMAT, then it may not be a good school at all.
Is that true?

I would be a little bit skeptical. Make sure that these schools are accredited!

well i looked through this site to find more information about the university instead of their official site:
https://www.petersons.com/GradChannel/co ... onsor=1679
They operate 18 locations across the US.
It seems like a good university, but it also seems like they don't have many students at the one in Chicago.
I'm not sure lol :(

Any reason why you're looking at this particular university? The website looks sketchy and the wikipedia entry talks about a plagirism event that the school handled miserably: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argosy_University So just make sure you check its accreditation and also if you can visit the campus before you decide!

Stanford and MIT accept GRE scores and there are some top European programs that don't require the GMAT. As Eric mentioned just make sure that you do your research on this school before you jump in. The price tag isn't too light on this school either.

No i was just planning on having a back-up plan. I was thinking if, for whatever reason, i do not get accepted at the university i wish to enroll at (DePaul University), then i was going to consider applying at Argosy univeristy!

Thank you for that link! I appreciate your help :)
