if -2x>3y, is x negative?

(1) y>0
(2) 2x+5y-20=0

-2x>3y or x/y<-1.5

stmt1,

y>0

Only if x is -ve,the above inequality is satisfied.

Suff

stmt2,

2x+5y-20=0

-2x=5y-20

-->5y-20>3y

y>10

-->-2x>30

Only if x is -ve,the above inequality is satisfied.

Suff

One more vote for D.
Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.
