Hi guys, I just gave my GMAT today, felt relieved with the digit 7 appearing in my final scoreline, although 20-30 more would have been more delightful.

My background: I work for a software firm based out from Bangalore and I have around about 3 years of experience. I am a non native English speaker (however I dont think this fact has much to do with scoring in the VA section in GMAT)

Practice Tests:

MGMAT1 - 670
800Score Test 1 - 760
MGMAT2 - 680
800Score Test 2 - 740
PowerPrep Test 1 - 750
Gmat Prep 1 - 730 (I booked my date on this day)
MGMAT3 - 680
MGMAT4 - 670
Kaplan Test 4 - 600
MGMAT4 - 680
800 Score test 3- 700
Kaplan Test 3 - 560
GMAT Prep 2 - 690

700 is a great score dude! Congrats!

Thanks guys...
@Ashish2104, well....last minute tip would be to keep your cool, which is very much needed for VA....I couldn't do much and thus ended up scoring my lowest ever in VA....Since only a few days are left, I'd suggest, do not read anything new...just revise all your concepts, go through all the mistakes you did while practicing or in the tests and build strategies for the exam....like planning for contingency, in case you are running out of time...etc

regarding the level of VA section....it was the more or less the same as that in OG and Kaplan, although you might wana do Kaplan 800 to prepare yourself better. Only reason I mentioned kaplan 800 is that, even though OG is sufficient, it contains proportionately less number of higher level questions which often get ignored in the masses while reviewing....

In the end it comes down to maintaining high concentration for four hours....its more of a physical and mental test than a very intellectual one....try to stay fit, eat healthy, and sleep good for the last whole week....I had a runny nose during the exam which happened to bug me in between....so avoid having all that...and you'll be fine!

All the Best!
