Let me explain about my situation first. I decided to give GMAT(first attempt) a month before and I am yet to start my preparation for GMAT. It is like I am starting from scratch. I thought of giving my GMAT in November. So obviously I am going to miss Round 1 applications in all colleges for 2011 fall admissions.
My questions are .
1. Am I too late in giving my GMAT for 2011 FALL admissions ?
2. Are the chances of getting through in Round 2 that difficult ?
3. What would you advice me as I need to join 2011 FALL admissions at any cost?
4. Does MBA colleges have spring admissions ?
Choosing GMAT exam date.Need Help!!!

Santosh,
As according to my conversations with the b-school admission dept, they select 50-50 from round 1 and round 2.that again depends on the quality of the applicants. But there is no harm in applying in second round.I myself i aiming for second round as my previous GMAT score was a disaster.
I would suggest you to prepare hard and score good in GMAT first.as this is a primary gate pass to apply.
Best luck for your preparation.

Thanks for the reply Saurabh. I came across certain universities where they have advised to apply early if we are in need of scholarship. Does that mean people applying in round 2 will have a disadvantage over those who apply in round 1 ?
