Dear ddp,
There is no set formula to achieve a 20 total point increase on your GMAT. The end score is scaled off of the raw scores based on an aggregate of test scores from a rolling sample. The experts on one of the other sections that are test instructors might have a better idea of how many raw points or how many questions that generally equates to, so I encourage you to post there if you haven't already.
