Re-downloading the GMATPrep software from MBA.com will not provide new tests for you--the material should be the same as before.
For decent CAT tests, I recommend: Best of luck!

Prior to January of 2006, the download from MBA.com was Powerprep.
(If your prior download was BEFORE 2006, then you should download the new software NOW. If you downloaded from mba.com in 2006, then you should download it now. Make sense?)
Two soursces for CAT tests that Eric didn't mention:
www.800score.com
www.cambridgeed.com
I want to be careful to be as clear as possible about these two products: Neither 800score nor Cambridge have the research budgets that Kaplan and Princeton have. Please read between the lines of what I am saying. If you need more CAT tests, the most reliable are Kaplan, Princeton and of course GMAC. These other firms have products that will allow you additional CAT testing.
As I said, please read between the lines of this post ....

Thanks for mentioning that caveat about Kaplan, delfosse. DO NOT TRUST your Kaplan test results--they are typically skewed down dramatically from what you should really expect on the real GMAT. Anecdotally, I've heard that Kaplan skews down scores from 80-120 points.

why i hv this feeling lately, that although GMATprep is (relatively) the best indicator of ones performance in the real thing, its not that accurate than it used to be when it was launched, earlier this year that is.
any thoughts?
IAN, ERIC, delfosse?

From what I understand, there haven't been any major changes to the GMAT since January 2006. I would think that GMATPrep would be as accurate as it has been throughout the year.
Do you have any specifics as to why/how GMATPrep could be less accurate now?
