3x/4
He makes a profit of 10% by selling it at 660$.Find its list price

from the question:-
if x=cost price at which Sam bought then
x+x*10/100=660, as Sam makes 10% profit while selling on 660.
=>11x/10=660 => x=600

if y=list price then
now 3/4*y=600 => y=600*4/3= 800

110-660
100=x

x=(660*100)/110
x=600

now
600-75
y-100

y=800

3x/4

10% profit of 3x/4 is -
3x/4 + 3x/4 *10/100 = 33x/40

33x/40 = 660
so, x= 800

answer is 800

yes answer is 800

he has made profit of 10

cp sp
100 110
x 660
from here we can get cp as 110*x=660*100
so CP as 600 rs
which will be his price while buying it at 25 ?% dicount

ListPrice SP
100 75
x 600

solving for x we get x as 800
so list price=800
