710 Q 46 V 41 (92% overall)

Hello,

Firstly, I'd like to thank Eric and all the contributors for a fantastic forum! I've learned a great deal in the last 3 months from this forum. I have been working for the last 8 years, so preparing for an exam after a long gap was definitely a challenge. Thanks to everyone for all your direct and indirect help!

I had to rush through the last 3 questions of Quant ; I completed verbal with 30 seconds to spare. I am a little disappointed with my Quant score, as I was averaging around 48-49 in practice CATs. As of today, the percentile for a Quant score of 46 is 76% and that for 48 is ~84% ; obviously anything over 80% feels MUCH better :). However, I'm happy with my verbal score of 41 (92%), so at least that part went well. Knowing that I can't get WAY better than this with a month of preparation, and that the GMAT score will be only one part of my application, I think I'll stick with this.

Coming to my preparation during the two and a half months, I was putting in an average of 1.5-2 hours on 4 weekdays, and 4 hours on Saturday/Sunday. I primarily used OG-12 for practice and Manhattan GMAT books for concepts. I also invested in Manhattan CATs, which helped me practice my timing. My last Gprep practice CAT score was 730.

Looking forward to contributing more often on this forum.

Thanks again!
