does getting invited earlier means you have a better chance? I heard of some people getting invited to their interveiws.

I haven't seen any data that supports the idea that getting invited earlier means you have a better chance.

I wouldn't read into this process too much. If you've already submitted your apps, just sit back and relax--you got through the hard part!

Agreed.

They process applications and then release interview information as they are processing. There have been some years in which the AdComs were simply running behind schedule because of the high volume of applications they received (and this is forecasted to be a high volume year) and interview invitations were released up to 4-6 weeks late.

Don't worry about the order in which these are sent out.
