A. A gradual reversion to the raising of agricultural staples --usage of noun or gerund after reversion is correct rather than verbs
B. That a gradual reversion back will feature the raising of agricultural staples--back is redundant
C. A gradual reversion back to the raising of agricultural staples again-- same as b
D. A gradual reversion to raise agricultural staples--reversion to should be followed by noun or gerund
E. A gradual reversion into the raising of agricultural staples--reversion into undiomatic
plz explain

IMO A: here is my elimination:
A. A gradual reversion to the raising of agricultural staples -->CORRECT:here, i think, we should use 'ing' form over 'to' as meaning here is not to show INTENT or else to raise should be fine.
B. That a gradual reversion back will feature the raising of agricultural staples -->INCORRECT: 'reversion' and 'back' means same, hence redundant
C. A gradual reversion back to the raising of agricultural staples again-->INCORRECT: 'reversion' and 'back' means same, hence redundant
D. A gradual reversion to raise agricultural staples -->INCORRECT: second best, i would say but meaning is changing, as gradual reversion is not to raise
E. A gradual reversion into the raising of agricultural staples -->INCORRECT: Once you compare this option with A, you will find only 1 difference i.e into\to, obviously we should go with to"
