GMAT Tomorrow , help

by 3layeh » Tue Dec 29, 2009 7:16 am
Hello,

I just took the practice test in Barron's CD that comes with the book GMAT,
anyway it shows me that

i got 19 correct in Quantitative (the percent written next to it 51%)
and 19 correct in Verbal (the percent written next to it 46%)

How do i calculate my Final Gmat ?? PLZ if anybody knows just let me know or how can i get the Scaled Score or Percentile ??

I don't think you can. I for one couldn't and was pretty annoyed by this, because I basically spent over two and a half hours without getting a score. Not only this, but the program had bugs in it, like a PS question coupled with DS answer choices! It's a crappy CD and the book is no better, if you ask me.

I say don't worry about it! In your final day before the GMAT, you should be rested, not take such a long CAT! Conserve your energies for tomorrow and at most lightly review official material.

Good luck and let us know how it went!

If you're using Barrons as your primary study guide, then that is your main problem. I wasted two months using Barrons materials. If you are only shooting for over 400, buy either Kaplan Premier or Princeton Review 2010 (or check them out from the library). Another book you may want to consider is the Manhattan GMAT math supplement. It goes over some of the more challenging math material in a basic manner, so if you see an inequality or a roots/exponents problem on the test, you will have a fighting chance to answer it correctly. Good luck.
