your verbal score is impressed.
Could you give me some advice to get higher than 40?

Well bvn, this was my 2nd attempt at gmat. I secured 660(42Q,38V) previously.
To improve my verbal score, i completed manhattan SC guide near about 4 times and LSAT CR bible twice before the exam.
For RC, i'd recommend making brief notes, such as the primary purpose of each paragraph and a few keywords, to make it easy to retrace the content.
For practice i used OG 10 and OG 12. Couldn't do all the questions from 1000 sc, cr and rc but nearly 150-200 questions from each.
Questions discussed on this forum are very helpful in providing the strategies used behind the selection of right answer, especially in case of SC.
Rest, erm do keep a track of your mistakes and work on your fundamentals if you repeat them.
