Hi All,

Can someone please tell approx. how much score is required for one year MBA courses such as. if possible can some one please tell college wise.

a) IIM Ahmedabad.
b) IIM Bangalore
c) IIM Lucknow
d) ISB
e) IIM Indore
f) IIM Calcutta
g) XLRI
h) Great Lakes.

HI MOhit,

Glad to note that you are interested in Indian B-schools. Unfortunately the schools in India are still a bit greedy for numbers. The IIMs (the ones that accept gmat score) have a heavy emphasis on your GMAT and typically an Indian applying to these school would have a GMAT score of around 720 to 780. For international students its a whole different story. But if you have a very unique profession like if you are a Doctor or a Pilot or a Journalist, then probably they might go easy on the scores as they would like your to join to improve the class diversity.

ISB in my opinion is a tad easy on the scores. I've known people with 670 get admitted but people with 750 get rejected!! So it depends on what unique experience you will be able to offer to the class.

I'm not sure about XLRI or Great Lakes.

Hi hk,

Someone told me that IIM Lucknow executive MBA selects students with average 680.....can you please tell is this indeed the case ?

Also kindly tell how good IIM Lucknow executive MBA is ?
