If A, then B.
If B, then C.
If C, then D.
If all of the statements above are true, which of the following must also be true?
(A) If D, then A.
(B) If not B, then not C.
(C) If not D, then not A.
(D) If D, then E.
(E) If not A, then not D.

What should be the correct answer to this !!

You should first diagram all the info you know. Since all the pieces of information are connected, you can diagram them all on one line

if A > B > C > D

next, you should always diagram the converse for completeness. Start with the last information on the right, negate it (do the opposite), and then continue backwards:

if (not) D > (not) C > (not) B > (not) A

next, look at the answer choices and see which one fits:

(A) If D, then A. - BACKWARDS, DOES NOT FIT
(B) If not B, then not C.
- DOES NOT FIT (the proper way would be if (not) C then (not) B
(C) If not D, then not A.
CORRECT - you start on the left with (not) D and work your way over to (not) A
(D) If D, then E. - E IS NOT EVEN MENTIONED - INCORRECT
(E) If not A, then not D. - AGAIN, THIS IS BACKWARDS SO IT IS INCORRECT.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right, but it will not come near you.
