by Khaim » Thu Jul 16, 2009 4:09 pm
For which of the following functions is f(a+b) = f(a) + f(b) for all positive number a and b ?

A f(x) = x2
B f(x) = x + 1
C f(x) = square root of x
D f(x) = 2/x
E f(x) = -3x

I have no idea :?

E
f(a+b) = f(a) + f(b)
jus put a=1 and b=2
so f(3)=f(1)+f(2)
The powers of two are bloody impolite!!
