Differences in Verbal Scores

by welcome » Sat Mar 07, 2009 5:52 pm
Hi All,
I am looking for some clarification regarding the differences in my score in Verb in difference test.

MGMAT 1 - 30
MGMAT 2 - 32
MGMAT 3 - 30
MGMAT 4 - 31

Prep 1 - 23
Prep 2 - 25

Keplan - 34

In all these test, I have got some 24-25 Qs right. I am not sure if there is some difference in the algorithms in these test. Please also let me know which one is the right indicator of real score.

Appreciate your response.
Shubham.

My guess is that the GMAC practice tests are the most reliable indicator of how you would function on the GMAT at this stage of your preparation. I say this because the GMAC prep tests are created by the same people who design the GMAT itself.

I have several old copies of paper-and-pencil GMATs, which I took last month in addition to taking the GMAC prep tests. My scores on the paper-and-pencil tests were identical to my scores on the GMAC tests.

This is just my two cents.
