GMAT Score:770
Hi,

Hope someone answers my query :P.

I am a college senior and I gave my GMAT this January- Got a 770 99%ile.

AWA 5.5 QA 51 99%ile VA 42(95%ile I hope it doesnt look lopsided )

Also will the AWA 5.5( not perfect:( affect my chances in a TOP 5 school, assuming other variables are good enough)

I have heard that many schools ask for a GMAT score which is not more than 2 years old. Is this true ?

So will it affect my chances if I apply after 4 years of Work Ex.
ie GMAT score will be 4 years old by then.

But I think a 770 will be reproducible if necessary.

What I meant to ask is whether a 4 year old GMAt score will put me at a disadvantage as compared to a newer score- say a 1 year old score. ( i know its valid for 5 years, but will a 4 year old GMAt score affect my chances in anyway) Sorry for not being clear in the earlier post.

You're GMAT is valid and I don't think would put you at a disadvantage just because its old. Just like a GPA of an applicant from 3 years ago is no more valid than a GPA of someone 6 years ago. Of course in this case, GPA's dont' expire. My point is that, if at the time you are applying, your score is valid, then its valid.

Don't forget as well that schools like reporting high GMAT scores for their incoming classes. As long as the score is valid, they could careless if its 5 years old or 1.

But that just my two cents
