Beat by Verbal

Took GMAT today and scored Q50/V20/580

I panicked during the last 15 minutes as I had to solve 20 questions
I didnot notice time slipping away when I was reading the long RC passages.

My thanks to Ian and Stuart for their innovative solutions, Bernt for his innovative questions and kind fellow mates in this forum.

My suggestions:
1. For math it is better to list out properties of circles, triangles in a paper whenever you come across a theorem/formula. It is a valuable reference tool during the last few days
2. Keep an eye on the time. real GMAT is little bit tough (in my view) and try to practice the GMAT prep at a faster rate. That is, try to complete each section 5 mins in advance. Save some time for tougher problems always

I will try to score well in TOEFL and supplement my verbal score. The deadlines for the colleges are approaching fast...
please let me know your views on my plan guys.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about your problems with Verbal! If your deadlines are approaching soon, I agree that focusing on TOEFL is probably the best use of your time to supplement your GMAT Verbal.

Good luck!
