If x and y are greater than 0, is x=1?
1) x/y=1
2) xy=1

Stmt 1
x/y =1
so x =y Insuff
Stmt 2
XY=1
x =1 ,y =1 YEs
x =3, y = 1/3 No
So Insuff
Now, taking 2 together :
x = y ; xy =1
if xy has to be 1 and x =y , then there is no other value x =1
coz xy =1 , if x=y
putting it back x^2 =1
x= +1 or -1
but x>0
So, x =1
Hence C
x/y =1
so x =y Insuff
