This a problem I have come across in Kaplan diagnostic test.
If an "anglet" is defined as 1 percent of 1 degree, then how many anglets are there in a circle?
a. 0.36
b. 3.6
c. 360
d. 36,00
e. 36,000
Explanation from Kaplan:
29. (E)
If an “anglet” is one percent of a degree, then there are 100 anglets in each degree. Since there are 360 degrees in a circle, there are 100 360, or
36,000, anglets in a circle. Never let the introduction of a new term like “anglet” worry you; questions that introduce new terms are usually easy, involving little more than a simple substitution.
It took me a while to understand this question. Can anyone explain it in a proper way?

If an "anglet" is defined as 1 percent of 1 degree MEANS:
100 ANGLETS = 1 degree
So Circle : 360 degrees = 36,000 anglets - Choose E
100 ANGLETS = 1 degree
So Circle : 360 degrees = 36,000 anglets - Choose E
