Yes the OA is correct.

What answer you are getting?

A
z=u
we can not draw any information about x and y
[You can not assume lines to be parrallel]

B
ABCD is a parallelogram
z=x
and
y=u

but no link between x and y

A+B
we can easily conclude that x=y

I got B

doesn't a diagonal of parallelogram bisect the angle?

No.

The diagonal of a rhombus does.

Draw a parallelogram with one side small and another side quite big
You will notice the difference in angles.
