here's my info:
23, Female, US born/raised but of Indian descent
B.S. finance from NYU, GPA 3.5
working at investment bank in 2 year analyst program (in 2nd year)
GMAT 660 (Q44 (70%), V37 (81%), overall 83%

my reccs would come from a managing director in my group.

Do i have a shot at MIT, Columbia, Berkley, Northwestern? What do i need to work on - retake GMAT? More experience?

Should i apply this year (for the jan 7 deadline)?

thanks!!

Given the competitive nature of MBA admissions this year, I would recommend more work experience. However, only you know how varied and challenging your work has been to date so you need to make that decision. Your GPA is strong and your GMAT is about average. Your application would be strengthened by more work exp and a slightly higher GMAT score.

thanks scottie. that was my hunch as well, but it sounds more meaningful coming from an expert.
