Hello all,

This is my first post !!

Request if anyone can suggest me a good GMAT coaching in hyderabad which has an excellent combination of faculty and material base.

I know 2 coaching institute names Manhattan Review, Greenlands and Princeton Review, greenlands please provide your valuable reviews about these coaching centers Pros and Cons for both of them.

If neither of them are not good enough then which one to go for?

Request for the forum members to respond as soon as possible, as i have to make up my mind within a day or two so would be grateful to anyone who could share his valuable inputs.

Thanks,
Sachin

Thanks buddy for your valuable input.

Have you been princeton's student ? how is the faculty and the course material and do they follow some structured approach ...?

I am asking all this info cause i am at 490 score presently, so do you think taking up princeton can at least boost my dream of acheiving 700+ by june mid/end ?

Really thankful for your assistance.

Sachin

Hi Sachin,

These institutes are like Anti-virus software mate. As my saying goes :D, No Anti-virus software provide you 100% success in Virus detection. Like that no institutes prepare you 100%. I was about to join Kaplan in Bangalore. However due to my personal life turn downs, I dropped it. And I have started preparing on my own. Right now I am referring Agarwal for Quant and brushing up Wren & Martin. I am looking for opportunity to go through either Kaplan or Princeton classes. let see how future unfolds. However my friends who are working at Hyderabad, they inquired and confirmed that Princi is a good one.

:) I totally agree with your Quote and your thought ..well was a little confused for the past few days so have been doing all this research cause...i had already put about 3 months of preparation in tits and bits and was still standing at 490 score, so i thought i should go in for some professional help, do not know how much it is gonna help me ! Also giving this exam i have been procrastinating it from a long time..so i have set a self target of finishing it by May end or June mid....

Hope princeton is gonna help me in my strife and am taking the right approach in going for a coaching, if you have some other thought let me know !!

Thanks ....good to catch up with u..lets stay hooked !!

Sachin

These institutes just help in u getting a network, and helps u with an environment, where everyone breathes GMAT....and that motivates a lot of ppl like me....and ofcourse they may guide u as much as possible...but end result is sole responsibility of our preparation....An admit to these institute doesnt not guarantee a score unless we gear up ourselves...I know of ppl who didnt take any coaching and got wonderful scores....but they had it in them to be motivated, undisturbed and so moved on...

As for me, Iam a Family man, I mean, am 31, married with a Kid...but passion for a worldclass MBA is killing me....so I need to concentrate and discipline myself away from kid/home....thats y I took a Coaching institute...I have joined in Manhattan Review at Begumpet...Classes wud start only in May for my admission...

Why dont we Hyderabad based guys who want to give our shot for 2011 admissions, meet up at a Venure...and share/motivate/guide eachother and plan our study....monitor progression...blah blah...

Hyderabad Study Group Meet Up

Hi all,
How wud the idea of we all meeting up at a Venue on May 1st be, which happens to be a Saturday....May be 3.30pm or 4pm.....and for the benefit of all, lets take a Poll till 24th and freeze this by 26th.....
I would suggest a calm and serene place like if you have heard of Kshetra Restaurant...near Khairatabad...or any other such place....
Idea
A simple meet up, networking, at the max spend on Coffee (10-15 Rs, each one buys his/hers) and spend quality time in discussion...
Itenary
1) Introduction, get to know each other ...15 Minutes
2) Knowledge sharing: Each person's inputs on where he stands w.r.t the beast (GMAT), and whats his strategy, did he/she join any coaching institute, blah blah...30 minutes
3) Try to identify and create a buddy system, based on Exam dates, current status of preparation, and vicinity from each other....15 minutes
4) Specific FAQs....like when is the R1 cut-offs, which college is gud for 1 year programs..etc....Noone is a expert here, so the group wud try and address FAQs, from whatever information it may have...15 minutes...

Wind Up....after a small round of cheering, motivation.....

In totality, it shud take say not more than 1 Hr 30 minutes...Eg., say we come by 4pm, 5.30 we leave...and lets treat the mutually agreed timing as a deadline...to avoid late coming...before we freeze, may be we can accept views till 24th....and 26th we would post Final Venue and Timing...

Even if we end up with only say, 2-3 ppl being interested in this meet up, we would go ahead and do it....So guys post your views...Lets freeze this meetup and fix a date/timing (preferably 1st May)....

Hi Sachin!
As far as I know both Princeton Review as well as Manhattan Review stand at an equal level. Both of them are good Institutes providing you the material you´ld require to write your GMAT and helping you throughout your course to develop your abilities in specific areas. I´ve attended classes in Manhattan review and can tell you that it is very good and very well equiped. However same things I´ve heard abt Princetop. So now it is up to you. All the best!!

Hi Sachin,

I represent CrackISB Team.

We run a few sessions for GMAT in Hyderabad, Bangalore and Pune presently. Will be expanding to other cities shortly.

If you are looking for quality GMAT prep with personalized attention then you can visit our local office and see for yourself.

Our pricing is more compared to Manhattan, PR etc but the quality of training is way more than what others can match.

Our training is typically done by graduates of top business schools themselves who have scored 750+ in GMAT and timings are suitable for working professionals (As the trainers themselves work full time in senior management roles in various MNC's. They are not english school teachers trained to teach GMAT.).

If Content, Trainers, Quality of education and Facilities/Infrastructure are your judging criteria you cannot miss visiting our local office. You can also schedule an appointment for a FREE profile evaluation and help in selecting appropriate B-Schools when you visit.

Warm regards,
Prasanth

Hi Sachin,

Did you wonder why you got 490?
I ll tell you why.
You MAY NOT have crossed 40 scale in Quant and 25 in Verbal.Right?

Get your score card copy and let me prove to you that if you had 30/37 on quant and 25/41 verbal ,you would have crossed 650.

Meet up with us and you will find that we are the best in the business,I am the quant faculty and VP Acharya ,the verbal faculty.
We teach at Gateway Overseas,Banjara Hills Road;6 Hyderabad,65553582/9502754146.

I own the place too.

You will find it is better than MR or PR.

Take free demo,find out yourself.

Hi,

I have read many posts on many sites . Can anyone give me a real time feedback about the coaching institutes in Hyderabad ? I stay in Kukatpally .
I am looking for someone who can give me personal attention regarding my weak areas.
Also i am looking for few test series.
It would be great if I can take a few demo classes .
