Hi Stacy,
Not sure if you are familiar with Canadian schools. I am a communications professional with 10 years of experience in Canada. I have applied (and have been admitted) to 3 schools in the Montreal area and am currently deciding on the best programme for myself to attend. The schools are:
McGill Desautels
HEC Montreal
Concordia John Molsons
Post-mba career goal is brand/marketing management in cpg, luxury, media/entertainment industries.
I did my bba at Michigan Ross, and graduated with a gpa of 3.75.
I would really appreciate if you or any of the experts can provide on insight on the schools.
Cheers,
DC

Dear DC,
Congratulations on your admission offers! Outside of Canada, McGill and HEC are the most known. So, if you are wanting a school with global recognition, then those two programs would meet that criteria. Likewise, you want to go with the program that is the best match for your career goals. Evaluate the course offerings in brand management marketing, as well as the industry ties to the CPG, luxury and media/entertainment industries. Finally, don't discount your instincts on which program you felt most comfortable at if you visited or gave you the best impression.
Best of luck as you begin your MBA journey!
Lisa
