OPTION A:- INCORRECT
Even the price of ice cream goes up in the future, its not enough reason to get a ice-cream maker due to its mini irrelevance and its occasional use.

OPTION B:- INCORRECT
Quite logical, but doesn't best complete the reason that makes it a good investment.. The option seem to answer more to gastric need than an investment.

OPTION C:- INCORRECT
If true that one should take every chance to acquire things due to the fact that the society is oriented towards consumer goods, it justifies the need for an ice-cream maker but doesn't answer for the reason why it makes a good investment, besides one can't acquire every gadgets he lays his hand on.

OPTION D:- CORRECT
The investment was a good one because 25 dollars is not worth what it was two years ago on account of the inflation rate. This perfectly completes the thought and provides a perfect case on how he spent or invested 25 dollars two years ago.

OPTION E:- INCORRECT
This is incorrect because it has deviated from the main course of the argument. The argument isn't concerned with how best to describe the investment of 25 dollars on an ice cream maker.
