Do you guys believe being in the 80% GMAT/GPA range for a school makes you competitive? Does work experience, company sponsorship etc. mean more? Just curious how you guys think top programs weigh candidates for their part-time programs.

Being within the 80% range or above is definitely a plus. However, schools tend to evaluate application packages as a whole. If you a very weak in a particular area then you should be able to explain it or somehow compensate for it. That said, part-time programs usually appeal to individuals who are not planning to change industries/companies and often have a greater amount of work experience than the typical full time MBA applicant.
