I applied a few schools at end of Jan. so far I only done one interview with northeastern and got an offer last week with $55k scholarship. I still want to wait for other schools especially fordham and brandeis. Is it a good option to pay $1000 deposit to Northeastern which due on 15 mar and wait for other school in the meantime?

If you won't hear back from the other schools before, I think you already know the answer yourself :)
It's just 1000 bucks. Spring for it.

Shirley916, some schools will work with you if they know that you're still waiting on admissions letters. This is one of the situations that you have to feel out though, because some can also get offended if you ask them to wait. If you already have any sort of relationship with someone in the admissions office, give them a call and see if they'd be willing to give you a bit more time.

If the decision deadlines for Brandeis and Fordham are before the 15th, then you won't have to ask, but a good number of schools will give you an extra week or two to make a final decision.

In regards to the enrollment deposit, do not pay it until your other options are all exhausted.

Hi shirley916,
Yes that's a wise move for you to take and meanwhile wait for updates from other schools. All the best!
