Hi Rijul007,

We don't currently offer any online demo classes, but you can get a sense of what our lessons are like with these strategy videos:

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions!

Thanks Jessie for replying.

I've checked out the prerecorded sessions and found them really amazing, but i wanted to check out and see if i could cope with the online classroom environment..

I have a few more queries:

I gave the diagnostic test last night and scored 630(Q 46, V 30)
found the quant pretty easy.. but as usual struggled with the verbal section..

in the quant section, i did 4 questions incorrrectly and still got just 46 score, which is 73%ile...i expected my score to be 50 or 51

so my question is
whether my score would have been the same if it were the real GMAT or does Knewton score this way so that the students dont get overconfident with a single test...?

regarding the 50+ guarrantee:
as I hav given the diag test in Nov...
in case i decide to join a GMAT prep course in Jan.. will this diag test be applicable for the 50+ guarrantee thing or do i need to have fresh diag test marks?
p.s. i have never given the real GMAT before..

Hey Rijul,

My pleasure, glad you found the videos helpful. Here's what you need to know:

1. We don't deflate scores for any reason. It's not uncommon for students to think a score on a particular CAT doesn't match their performance. This has to do with the GMAT scoring algorithm, which you can learn about here:

https://www.knewton.com/blog/2010/02/04/ ... aq-part-2/

This is just one part of a three-part series. I would definitely recommend reading all three parts, as they're very helpful in clarifying a lot of components of the scoring students often don't understand.

2. Since you haven't taken the GMAT before, your baseline score for the 50 point guarantee will be the first CAT you take in the course. It will not be your practice test score.

Hope this helps, and let me know if anything isn't clear!

- Jessie
