s and t on a number line s+t=0

This can be rephrased as, Is lsl = ltl ?

Statement I

ls-0l = lt-0l

lsl = ltl

Hence Sufficient.

Statement II

0 is between s and t

s could be anything, t could be anything

Insufficient.

Hence A is the answer.

Whats the OA?

OA will be C

As, S also can be equal to T,means they can be same number, so we need B also to conclude the answer

The question stem explicitly states that s and t are two different numbers on the number line.

Hope its clear.

Yes, A

(2) does not mean that distance from s to 0 is equal to the dist from t to 0
0 is only somewhere between s and t

Asnwer should be A.

s and t are two different numbers, and 0 is somewhere between them.

therefore, statement 2 is not sufficient.
