newbie here

hi All,

I have booked an appointment for GMAT exam on 28th May 2012. That gives me around 3 1/2 months of preparation time. My target is 750+. I started my preparation 2 weeks back. I just did a quick refresh of my maths skills and went through what exactly GMAT is all about. Read a lot of stuff about GMAT in this very blog. I am excited and also bit skeptical about the test.

I am using the books mentioned below for preparation.

OFFICIAL GUIDE 12th edition
KAPLAN GMAT premier
KAPLAN 800
MANHATTAN Sentence correction.

Please let me know if you have any suggestions for books or preparation. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to our community, kullayappayenugula!

Thanks for that introduction, and the good news is that you have plenty of time to prepare thoroughly for the GMAT. One resource I highly recommend is our 60-Day GMAT Study Guide. This is a free daily GMAT course that tells you what to study each day, it's very popular in our community.

Most importantly, if you have questions during your prep--just ask our community! Our experts and members are very friendly and love helping people like you.

Good luck!
